The Brief.

In an unprecedented partnership with Menter a Busnes and the Welsh Government, Rebel Lion Advertising was given a daring mission: to encapsulate the monumental efforts of 22 Welsh businesses in the food and drink sectors that benefited from the decarbonisation and COVID recovery fund. The stakes were high, the remit was broad, and the timeline was tight. But we were fuelled by our core ethos—’Designed To Do Things Differently.’

The Outcome .

We didn’t just deliver; we over-delivered. Travelling more than 1500 miles across Wales, we delved deep into the stories of 48 case studies. We translated our findings into both English and Welsh, amassing an astonishing 41,679 words and 165K+ words. Our data footprint? A colossal 234GB. We didn’t stop at written content; we produced six video case studies, six podcasts, and even a sonic ident. We secured 35 pieces of editorial content in the Welsh press, amplifying the impact and reach of these transformative stories.

This wasn’t just another project; it was a mission to redefine what business support looks like in the post-pandemic, eco-conscious world. We took a holistic approach, capturing not just the numbers but the human stories, the struggles, and the triumphs. We went beyond the brief to create a multi-dimensional narrative that resonates with a diverse audience.

From travelling across Wales to capture authentic stories to translating content into Welsh to honour cultural integrity, we pushed boundaries. We utilised a range of written, visual, and auditory media to ensure a rich, immersive experience.
