In a new collaboration with Legoland Discovery Centre Birmingham and Marshall Arts, our mission was clear yet extraordinary: to create a one-of-a-kind, immersive experience for the arrival of Sir Elton John to the Utilita Arena Birmingham for his Farewell Yellow Brick Road, The Final Tour. Given the stature of this event, marking the final tour of an iconic artist, we aimed to commemorate this in a unique way that was in line with our ethos of ‘Doing Things Differently’.
Together, we achieved something truly spectacular. Merging the playful spirit of Legoland with the awe-inspiring grandeur of Sir Elton’s legacy, we created an astonishing tribute: Elton’s iconic glasses, recreated in vibrant Lego bricks, donned by Geri the Giraffe. Towering at a striking 25 feet, Geri is a testament to the joy of Lego creation. But on this special occasion, Geri became an emblem of homage to Sir Elton John, his glasses reflecting the flamboyant style that Elton is synonymous with.
This imaginative spectacle offered more than just visual delight; it was an immersive experience that seamlessly blended Elton’s distinctive identity with the fun world of Lego.
The result was a memorable event that welcomed Sir Elton John to the Utilita Arena Birmingham in style, delivering an extraordinary experience to fans and attendees alike. This venture underlines Rebel Lion Advertising’s commitment to ‘Doing Things Differently’, pushing the boundaries of creative marketing.
