THE CPS GROUP 20TH ANNIVERSARY SHORT-FILM .
The Brief.
CPS Group are one of the oldest recruitment companies in Cardiff, so when their 20th anniversary came knocking on the door, they knew they had to celebrate in style. After an initial meeting with the CPS team, we were tasked to return with an idea that would not only act as a stand-out piece of advertising, but also a thoughtful, well-crafted retrospective of their two decades in the recruitment industry.
The Outcome .
The outcome was a Netflix-style short film, compiling stories from the CPS team. The twist? You’ll find no B-roll in this film: no cutaways, animations, or archival footage – only direct-to-camera interviews. The goal was to put the viewer in an intimate conversation with CEO Jason and the CPS team without the distraction of over-the-top editing. It was a daring approach, and the client was excited to explore that avenue with us. What did the rest of the world think? LinkedIn went crazy for the short film – with friends, family, clients, and employees singing the praises of the short film. As for the client? They couldn’t be happier, and we’re excited to bring more work to life over what will, no doubt, be a long-lasting relationship.
