The role:
As the inaugural Head of Rebel Lion London, you will be instrumental in establishing and driving our media planning and buying services forward. This is a unique opportunity to shape Rebel Lion’s future in one of the world’s most competitive media markets. You will be responsible for laying the groundwork, crafting a vision for the agency, and achieving first-year targets, which will enable the recruitment of a dedicated London team and transition the agency towards complete operational independence.
Key responsibilities:
- Successfully launch and establish the London agency, primarily focusing on media planning and buying.
- Develop and implement innovative strategies to meet and exceed first-year targets, catalysing the expansion of our core divisions in London.
- Forge and nurture key industry relationships, elevating the agency’s profile and opening doors to new business opportunities.
- Facilitate a seamless collaboration with our Cardiff agency to leverage shared resources and expertise during the initial phase.
- Demonstrate exceptional leadership by recruiting and cultivating a London-based team, guiding the transition from a new agency to a fully independent operation.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 7 years experience in the media industry, with a proven track record in media planning and buying.
- Demonstrable experience in leading and growing a team or agency, focusing on media-related services.
- An innate ability to disrupt and innovate within the media industry, challenging the status quo and driving forward creative solutions.
- Strong networking skills, with the capability to develop and maintain industry relationships that support business growth.
- A visionary leader with strategic foresight, adept at setting and achieving ambitious goals.
