We partnered with Newport Live to promote Wales’ largest free outdoor arts festival, The Big Splash. Our objective was to drive awareness and increase attendance through a combined Out of Home (OOH) and paid digital campaign. The campaign was highly successful, with overall attendance up by 20% compared to the previous year.

DELIVERABLES.

Paid Digital:

  • Developed and executed a targeted digital campaign across social media platforms to maximise reach and engagement over a three-week period.
  • Utilised a strategy focused on broad audience targeting, ensuring the ads were seen by as many relevant people as possible across the South Wales region and surrounding areas.

Out of Home:

  • Implemented OOH advertising across key railway stations in South Wales, targeting high footfall locations to increase visibility and awareness of The Big Splash.

THE OUTCOME .

The integrated campaign proved highly effective in driving awareness for The Big Splash. The combination of digital and OOH advertising led to a significant increase in attendance, achieving a 20% rise compared to the previous year. This comprehensive and strategic approach ensured the campaign reached a wide and diverse audience, making it one of Newport Live’s most successful promotions for The Big Splash to date.
