The BBC National Orchestra of Wales sought to promote their family-friendly event, “CBeebies: Ocean Adventure”, scheduled for 1st June 2024 at Swansea Arena. The goal was to generate awareness and boost ticket sales for this unique musical experience, specifically targeting families with children under the age of 6.
To achieve this, our campaign focused on engaging families in Swansea and the surrounding areas through strategic advertising, ensuring high visibility and strong engagement with the target demographic, ultimately maximising attendance at the event.
Using Experian data, we pinpointed areas in Swansea with a high concentration of children under 8 years old who shared an interest in musical and educational events. Location analysis further refined our targeting strategy, enabling us to develop a detailed outdoor campaign to ensure maximum impact.
The combination of paper and paste billboards, digital billboards, and bus shelter advertisements provided a comprehensive coverage strategy, ensuring consistent visibility and engagement across different parts of the city and throughout various times of the day. This mix effectively captured attention and conveyed the event details to the target audience. By combining detailed demographic insights with strategic location analysis, we successfully created an impactful campaign that resonated with the target audience and achieved the desired outcomes.
