Cardiff City Football Club tasked us with creating a compelling launch campaign for their new 2024/25 Home Kit, designed by New Balance.
Building on the success of the 125th-anniversary commemorative video we produced a few months prior, this project required a seamless blend of contemporary style with elements that honoured the club’s rich history. Working closely with ISLANDR, a Division of Rebel Lion Advertising, our goal was to produce a campaign that paid tribute to Cardiff City FC’s legacy while inspiring future generations of supporters.
We provided full creative direction and concept development, ensuring the campaign’s vision captured both the modern and historical aspects of the club. Our team collaborated with ISLANDR to handle video production and editing, incorporating hand-drawn murals and archival footage to pay homage to the club’s heritage. We also brought Cardiff City legends on board to enhance the authenticity of the launch.
Despite the project’s tight timescale, we delivered everything within the deadline, creating a campaign that resonated with fans and the wider football community.
The campaign successfully captured the essence of Cardiff City Football Club, blending modern elements with a nod to the club’s history through hand-drawn murals and archival overlays. By featuring Cardiff City legends, we added authenticity and depth to the launch, creating an emotional connection with fans.
Despite a tight timescale, the project was delivered on time, and the launch received a highly positive response from fans and the broader football community. The final outcome not only celebrated the club’s heritage but also set an inspiring tone for the future.
